Product Introduction
The hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile ammonium salt NH4-HPAN is a pale yellow powder-based drilling fluid treatment agent obtained by hydrolyzing acrylic fibers at a temperature range of 160°C - 180°C and under a pressure of 15 - 20 MPa. Its molecular weight ranges from 10,000 to 50,000, and it contains functional groups such as -COOH, -COONH4, -CONH2, and -CN. The ammonium ion content is ≥ 7%. This substance has the properties of resisting temperatures up to 150°C, resisting salt, and being corrosion-resistant. It achieves the anti-collapse effect through the embedding of NH4+ in the shale, reducing the filtrate loss of the drilling fluid and improving the rheological properties. It is suitable for anionic and amphoteric ion-based water-based drilling fluid systems, and the recommended addition amount is 0.5% - 1.5%.

1. Temperature resistance: It can maintain the anti-filtering loss effect at a temperature of 150°C, and its thermal stability is superior to conventional treatment agents.
2. Shale inhibition: NH4+ is embedded in the interlayers of the shale through ion exchange, inhibiting the hydration expansion of clay.
3. Rheology adjustment: It reduces the apparent viscosity of the drilling fluid, and the viscosity of the freshwater slurry can reach ≥ 45.0 mPa·s.
4. Environmental adaptability: It maintains stable performance in systems with a salt content of less than 10%.

As a drilling fluid additive, it is applied in:
Geological exploration drilling operations, shale gas horizontal well drilling, and complex formation deep well construction in high-temperature environments for anti-collapse control.
When using it, please note:
It can enhance efficiency and reduce viscosity when used in combination with polypropylene potassium salt.
It needs to be paired with an anti-calcium agent in high calcium and magnesium ion environments.
It can enhance sealing performance when combined with sulfonated asphalt.
