Product Introduction:

Sulfonated lignite (SMC) is a derivative of lignite humic acid. It is synthesized from lignite under the conditions of a sulfonating agent and an appropriate temperature. Its appearance is a brown-black powder. It is a viscosity reducer and filter loss control agent for freshwater drilling fluids that can withstand temperatures ranging from 200°C to 220°C. It is a cheap and efficient mud treatment agent.

Product Applications:

It can effectively reduce the high-temperature and high-pressure filter loss of drilling fluids. It forms a thin and tough filter cake on the well wall, which is crucial for stabilizing the well wall, preventing well collapse, and protecting the oil and gas layer. Secondly, it is an efficient flow pattern regulator and dispersant. It can break the network structure formed by solid particles in the drilling fluid, reduce the dynamic viscosity, shear force, and pump resistance, improve the rheological properties of the drilling fluid, facilitate the carrying of rock cuttings and clean the wellbore. In addition, due to the multiple functional groups in its molecular structure, it can also provide certain shale inhibition, assisting in inhibiting the hydration and expansion of shale mud. It is often used in combination with sulfonated phenolic resin (SMP), sulfonated asphalt, etc., to form a classic "three-sulfur" drilling fluid system. It is widely used in drilling operations in deep wells, high-temperature wells, saltwater layers, and formations with calcium and magnesium contamination. It is one of the key chemicals for ensuring safe and efficient drilling.
